Little Providence Indy the Sequel
DOB: 05/24/2015

Amber is one of our first alpaca here on the farm. When she came to us we were informed that she was pregnant and the father was a llama. On top of the interesting coupling, she hadn’t be shorn, had her nails trimmed, or had her face halter taken off for two years! Her fiber was just under four inches long and full of debris from her environment and her muzzle was left deviated from the too tight halter.

Thankfully, Amber and her companion, Ella, were able to have their Cria (baby alpaca) with us to ensure their health and safety. Their coats were sheered, nails trimmed, halters removed, and they are now living a luxurious life with us. Despite their rough start at a petting zoo, they now only have to worry about the wild turkeys that visit every night.
